Is the fee flat?
Yes. Basic is $349, Advanced is $449 and Classic & Exotic is $595. Each additional vehicle on the same request is $250, and rush delivery is $149 more. We never charge a percentage of the value, and the fee does not change with the number we find. Fleets of five or more vehicles are quoted per vehicle, and expert testimony or depositions are billed separately by arrangement.
What is diminished value?
It is the drop in market value a vehicle suffers after an accident, even when the repair is done well. Buyers usually pay less for a car with an accident on its history report. A diminished value appraisal measures that difference by comparing what the vehicle was worth just before the accident with what it is worth after repair.
The insurer's total-loss offer seems low. Can you help?
Yes. Send the insurer's valuation report with your request. We check their comparable vehicles, equipment and condition adjustments against current sold data and listings, then document a value you can share with your insurer, or use if you invoke the appraisal clause in your policy. We don't negotiate with insurers or handle claims, and we are not public adjusters or attorneys.
Do you appraise collector, exotic and pre-1981 vehicles?
Yes, with the Classic & Exotic Appraisal. For vehicles without a 17-character VIN, tick the box in the form and enter the year, make and model by hand. Build records, restoration invoices and provenance documents help a lot, so attach whatever you have.
Why pay for an appraisal when online values are free?
An online value is one source’s estimate for an average vehicle. Your report checks multiple data sources, adjusts for your vehicle’s real mileage, condition and factory options, and shows how each adjustment was made, so whoever reads it can see where the number comes from.
Will the insurance company or the other side accept your report?
No appraiser can promise that. What we give you is a written report with its comparable sales, current listings and adjustments laid out, so it can be checked rather than dismissed. How you use it is up to you, and your attorney if you have one.
Do you need to see the vehicle in person?
No. Appraisals are prepared from the VIN, your photos and documents, and market data. Clear photos of all four sides, the interior, the odometer and any damage make the report stronger.
Can you value a vehicle as of a past date?
Yes. For legal matters and estates, the form asks for the value-as-of date, and the report states the value on that date.
What if the value isn’t what I hoped for?
The fee is the same whatever the number is, and that is what makes the report worth showing to someone else. You can cancel within 24 hours for a full refund as long as we haven’t sent your appraisal.
Can you invoice my company or firm?
Yes. Insurance companies, law firms and other businesses can be invoiced instead of paying by card. Contact us at the email or phone number listed on this site before you order, and requests for two or more vehicles are always invoiced.
How long does it take?
Basic: 2 business days. Advanced: 3 business days. Classic & Exotic: 5 business days. Rush delivery: next business day. Times count from when we have your order and photos. If you have a deadline, enter it on the contact step. We confirm within one business day whether we can meet it, and if we confirm and miss it, we refund your fee in full.
